Pump Up the Water Volume!
Summertime in Kansas is always fun – barbeques, swimming, and temperatures of 90+! As temperatures increase, you’ll need to pay special attention to the water levels you have in place with your current irrigation system. The water requirements that kept your landscape hydrated in May won’t be enough to keep it hydrated in July and August. Those beautiful plants and that luscious turf grass will require considerably more water in the thick of summer, so now is the time to pump up that water volume!
Making Adjustments
Several factors will influence how much water your plants will need such as slope, local weather patterns, and the amount of sun exposure each zone receives. You are able to manually increase the number of days that your irrigation system will run, as well as how long each zone receives water.
