Early Spring Lawn Care
During the first month of spring, we perform maintenance to prevent grassy weeds from germinating in your lawn. We also provide important nutrients for your grass so it grows nicely the rest of the season. Crabgrass and goosegrass are two types of weeds that can be a problem during this time of year, so we take appropriate precautions to help prevent them.
Late Spring Lawn Care
Near the end of spring, in preparation for the summer months, we apply a type of fertilizer that lasts for an extended period of time as temperatures continue to rise. We also work to control other types of weeds. Proper maintenance during late spring can help control:
- Clovers
- Dandelions
- Chickweed
- Other types of broadleaf weeds
Summer Lawn Care
During the summer months, the iron fertilizer and micro-nutrients we apply help to maintain the rich, green color of your lawn, despite the temperate being dry. During this time, we also spot check for various weeds such as nutgrass and crabgrass, applying treatment as necessary.
Early Fall Lawn Care
At the very beginning of the fall, we apply a nitrogen-only product, which rejuvenates your lawn from the harsh conditions brought on by dry summer months. The fertilizer we use boosts turf quality and growth. During this time, we also check for broadleaf weeds, applying treatment as necessary.
Late Fall Lawn Care
Starting in November, we apply another nitrogen-only product, which provides nutrients to the roots in preparation for the winter months. Our maintenance services during this time help produce a thicker lawn and prevent various weeds from germinating.
